The Artistry® Reformer with FWS Tower is for the practice that wants it all. Beneath is our classical flagship reformer, with a solid Beechwood or Walnut hardwood frame and a whisper-quiet five-spring carriage. Above it is the FWS, our Functional Workout System: a proprietary contoured aluminum tower, with Beechwood or Walnut accents to match your reformer, that can be used from the front and the back, and that brings much of the traditional Cadillac repertoire together with functional training.

The hinged carriage flips to reveal Twin Mats in seconds. For studios and clinics, the two-sided tower means more ways to work on one apparatus. For the home, it's the closest thing to a Cadillac without a second piece of equipment.

Artistry® FWS FAQ
FWS or TWS: Which tower is right for me?

Choose the FWS if you want the widest repertoire: its aluminum tower, with Beech or Walnut accents, can be used from the front and back and covers much of the traditional Cadillac repertoire. Choose the Artistry® Reformer with TWS Tower if you want the classic half-Cadillac, a steel tower with solid Beech or Walnut bars, with a choice of rope, vegan straps or leather.
Is the FWS available with straps?

The FWS is offered with the classical rope and riser package.
How do I switch between reformer and mat?

Flip the hinged carriage to reveal the Twin Mats. There are no parts to remove.
I already own an Artistry® Reformer. Can I add the FWS?

Yes. The Artistry® FWS Tower Retrofit Kit adds the FWS tower to your existing reformer.
How much space do I need?

The Artistry® Reformer is 90 L × 26 × W inches (229 × 66 cm). Allow 3 ft of clear space on every side, and room behind the tower if you plan to use its back side.
What is it made of?

The reformer frame is solid Beech or Walnut hardwood. The FWS tower is contoured aluminum with Beech or Walnut accents to match. The carriage is Baltic Birch, finished to match the Beechwood or Walnut you choose. 
Why Baltic Birch?

Baltic Birch is built from thin layers of birch, each laid with its grain running across the one before. That cross-laminated construction stays flat and stable under constant spring load, resists the warping and splitting solid wood can develop over time, and holds hardware securely. We use it for the parts of the apparatus that work hardest. Natural hardwood and finish-matched Baltic Birch can vary slightly in tone and grain, so every piece is unique.
Can I use it at home?

Yes. Tower work adds push-through and spring exercises, so Peak Pilates® recommends learning under a certified Pilates instructor. Your 2 months of the Pilates Project app keeps you practicing between sessions. Keep children and pets away from the equipment.
