Peak Pilates® Trainings and Workshops
We offer a variety of continuing education courses and workshops at Peak Pilates sponsored events and industry conferences. Peak Pilates continuing education trainings and workshops are open to all Pilates professionals as well as individuals who would like to advance their classical Pilates practice. Peak Pilates Certified Instructors earn continuing education credits (CECs), which count towards the 14 CECs required to renew certifications.
Single Day Workshops
Lengthen and Strengthen with Elastic Bands

Unleash your inner strength in this fluid elastic band workout. Learn to use the elastic bands to mimic the springs on the apparatus, assist and support movement, develop length and opposition, and find a strong heel to seat connection. Challenge your students with unique variations for mat exercises without sacrificing flow. If you are looking for something new for your students, this is it! Open to any Pilates studio equipped with elastic bands and space for mats.
Power Circle

Hours: 3
Learn how to use the Power Circle to enhance your private sessions and classes. Understand how to access the Powerhouse, improve initiation and execution, heighten the connection to centerline and develop more stability. Exact placement of the Power Circle will be covered for each mat exercise, as well as progressions and transitions. Open to any Pilates studio equipped with Power Circles and space for mats.
Peak Conditioning with Kettlebells

Peak conditioning is a state of balance between all elements of physical fitness. Conditioning can be developed from early childhood through adult fitness pursuits. Power and strength development, and the foundations laid before it, are key. Though many training tools have been developed over the years in an effort to improve upon these fitness elements, two have stood the test of time: Pilates and kettlebells. In an effort to build strength, endurance, balance, flexibility and power, let’s dive further into how to combine these two tools understand exactly how and why we can bring students the best of both. Workshop can be applied with Pilates mat or reformer. Open to any Pilates studio equipped with kettlebells, mat and reformers.
Props Shop

Set up shop and gain new skills to increase support, resistance and proprioceptive feedback and help your mat students understand and get more out of their workout. Don’t just grab any old prop—develop a thought process that will help you to decide why to choose which prop, how to use them to full advantage, and how to work with flow. Balls, bands, circles, rings and more! Open to any Pilates studio equipped with props and space for mats.
Jump Intervals

Maximize your propulsion power with a program designed to burn calories, challenge your cardiovascular system, and improve jump alignment and athletic performance. Learn how to teach a class that offers a challenging variation that is not just fun for athletes but for all fitness participants. Peak Pilates equipment is required to host.
Fundamentals

Pilates fundamentals provide the tools you need to help students develop and improve powerful movement patterns. Fundamentals exercises are sophisticated, powerful tools that can be used to evaluate and re-educate movement. Learn a well-rounded approach to using fundamentals effectively in your teaching without sacrificing flow. Peak Pilates equipment is required to host.
Level II Preparation

Level II Preparation is a workshop designed to help you prepare and think ahead for the Peak Pilates® Level II Certification. Review Level I exercises and the 5-Part Formula, discuss real-life teaching scenarios, and preview Level II exercises. This workshop will give you a head start on the next step so you can realize your strengths and areas that need work before attending Level II. Peak Pilates equipment is required to host.
Totally Tower

Gain an intelligent approach to the tower that makes it totally terrific! Learn pre-choreographed blocks that can be mixed and matched for a variety of class formats that will inspire your students to higher levels of fitness. Take your students from a beginning level of tower all the way up to advanced challenges. Minimum 4 Towers required to host.
Two Day Workshops
Chair & Barrel Intensive

The Chair & Barrel Intensive I workshop is a 1.5-day course that introduces the semi-circle barrel, spine corrector, ladder barrel, high chair, low chair, arm weight series and towel exercises. Through lecture and discussion, you will become familiar with when, why and how to incorporate these exercises into a session for optimal programming. This course is applicable for any Pilates instructor interested in practically learning or refreshing their introductory chair and barrel knowledge and is a prerequisite to register for Chair & Barrel Intensive II. Additionally, if you are a Peak Pilates PPS instructor and have yet to take Level I Chair & Barrel, this workshop is prerequisite for entry into the Peak Pilates Comprehensive Level II or III trainings or the final Comprehensive assessment. Peak Pilates equipment is required to host.
Chair & Barrel Intensive II

The Chair & Barrel Intensive II workshop is a 1.5-day course that advances the work on the spine corrector, ladder barrel, high chair, and low chair and introduces the arm weight series, basic jump board, ped-o-pull, sand bag and foot corrector. Through theoretical and practical exploration, you will understand not only how to integrate these exercises into the system, but how to safely progress them. If you are a Peak Pilates PPS instructor and have yet to take Level II Chair & Barrel, this workshop is prerequisite for entry into the Peak Pilates Comprehensive Level III or the final Comprehensive assessment. Peak Pilates equipment is required to host.
MVe® Chair Training

The MVe® Chair Instructor Training focuses on teaching small group Pilates chair classes set to music in a studio or health club setting. You will learn the foundational Peak Pilates® Perfect Ten Chair Exercises as well as modifications and variations to accommodate all participants. Three pre-designed class formats sequence together exercises that use the entire body in coordinating movements and the most effective patterns that are also fun for participants. In addition to your instructor manual, your course materials include three workout DVDs.
Group Reformer Training

The two-day Group Reformer Instructor Training teaches you the Peak Pilates® Perfect Ten series of reformer group exercises for beginner to intermediate participants. The workshop prepares you to deliver predesigned group reformer workouts that will challenge your clients by offering Pilates workouts for a contemporary audience. As a participant in the training, you receive a comprehensive instructor manual and educational DVDs that break down the set-up, execution and flow of each exercise, including the MVe® EveryBody Reformer Workout DVD, MVe Energize Reformer Workout DVD and the MVe Definition Reformer Workout DVD.
