One of our favorite events of the year, DCAC, is coming up. We will be in Reston, VA at the Hyatt from August 3-4 and host a total of 11 sessions all led by Kathryn Coyle (the National Pilates Program Manager at Life Time Fitness) and Zoey Trap (the Executive Director of Education and Training at Peak Pilates®).
This year’s event is like a home coming for these two presenters as they recently relocated from the Reston area to the Midwest.
What can you expect? Sessions that encompass mat and props, chair technique and choreography, and teaching skills are heavily featured.
Look for tons of new inspiration and insights to your teaching. The always popular Super Advanced Chair will dive deep into how to perform these challenging exercises, as well as how to progress, teach them and spot them. Sessions unique to this year are Clean and Classical Mat, Mindful Movement For Seniors, the Golden Touch, Movement Matters and Pilates Beyond the Mat.
