The MVe Chair and Reformer two-day instructor training workshops build upon your existing professional knowledge, allowing us to provide a quality training program in a limited amount of time. Designed to prepare you to lead pre-designed group workouts, the focus is on the Peak Pilates Perfect Ten Chair and Reformer Exercises, giving you a well-balanced framework for mastery of the program. The workshops are supported with comprehensive educational materials, including visually rich training manuals, workout and instructional DVDs, and more.

  • Unique to Peak Pilates®, we provide an on-site follow-up day, 4–6 weeks after your workshop, designed to address instructors' questions and to provide implementation consultation.
  • Audio downloads are also provided as tools that new instructors can use to practice their teaching skills and learn cueing techniques from master trainers.
  • Follow-along MVe workout DVDs with instructor teaching guides provide choreography, cueing and modifications that instructors can learn and implement into their own classes.

MVe® Chair Workshop: Level I

The MVe Chair Instructor Workshop is a two-day training with a focus on teaching small group chair classes set to music in a studio or health club setting. The workshop is designed to build upon your existing professional knowledge, and focuses on the Peak Pilates® Perfect Ten Chair Exercises, providing an excellent and well-balanced framework that allows for mastery of the program, as well as modifications and variations to accommodate all participants. Three pre-designed class formats sequence together exercises that utilize the entire body in coordinating movements in the most effective and fun patterns possible.

  • Course Objectives
    Understand the elements of the MVe instructor education materials and how to use them as a learning tool and teaching aid.
    Demonstrate proficiency in the five essential body positions used with the MVe Chair.
    Demonstrate an understanding of four universal alignment concepts and Pilates Principles.
    Learn the 4-step teaching guide S.E.A.T. variables to safely and effectively teach a multi-level class.
    Learn the Perfect Ten, Super Series and Fusion exercises.
  • Prerequisites
    A certification in one of the following is required; Pilates, personal training, a 4-year degree in Exercise Science or equivalent.

Group Reformer Workshop: Level I and Level II

The two-day MVe Reformer Workshop will focus on teaching the Perfect Ten series and beginner to intermediate reformer group exercises with fitness fusion elements. Learn how to deliver predesigned MVe Reformer workouts that will build your training repertoire and challenge your clients.

  • Course Objectives
    Understand the elements of the MVe instructor education materials and how to use them as a learning tool and teaching aid.
    Demonstrate proficiency in the seven essential body positions used with the MVe Reformer.
    Demonstrate an understanding of seven universal alignment concepts and Pilates Principles.
    Learn the 5-step teaching guide P.L.A.C.E. variables to safely and effectively teach a multi-level class.
    Learn the Mat, Perfect Ten and Fusion exercises.
  • Prerequisites
    A Certification in Pilates, personal training, group fitness or a 4-year degree in Exercise Science Degree or equivalent.
  • Continuing Education Credits
    16 Peak Pilates CECs | 4 STAR Points | 9 AFAA CECs
