Peak Pilates requires graduates to complete a minimum of 14 continuing education credits (CECs) every 2 years in order to keep your certification current.
The Peak Pilates Training Team is constantly working to develop new workshops that show a commitment to continuing education focused on infusing your body, mind and spirit with substance that sustains. The Side Kick Series progresses powerhouse control in side lying positions. It tones, stretches and strengthens the legs and hips and assists structural alignment and functional control. Twenty minutes is the time it takes, on ONE side, to execute all variations. Learn the variations starting with beginner work and progressing to the more complicated intermediate and advanced sequences. Investigate biomechanics of the shoulder complex in the side lying weighted positions and hip flexion and extension patterns with corresponding spinal mechanics. Prop variations for special cases and added challenges for super achievers is reviewed, equipment application is discussed. This isn’t just a workshop on the Side Kick Series; it’s an in-depth investigation of the Pilates system through the Side Kick Series.
