Posting your photo and biography onto the Community is a great way to connect with other users on a personal level. No matter where you are in your Pilates background (studio owner, personal trainer, student, enthusiast, etc.) use the biography to provide a bit more information about who you are. Adding a photo will also add that ‘personal touch’ and can allow you to become a face in the Pilates Community.

Once you are signed in, from the member welcome screen, click on the “Community” link. This will take you to the Community homepage. From here, choose “Edit my Profile” in the upper right-hand corner. This opens a new page where you may submit your signature (to be posted below any Forums you contribute to) and biography. Once you have submitted your biography, choose “save” at the bottom of the page. This will automatically update your member profile.

To submit a photo, follow the same steps mentioned above, however this time, click the “Portrait” tab. Be sure to select that you want to enable your portrait by clicking on “yes.” From here you may browse your computer for a photo of yourself (preferably a headshot or close-up – otherwise it may be too small to see). When you have located a suitable photo, click on “update” and then “save.” This will automatically update your member profile.

Note: If you do not see your changes right away, please be aware that it may take up to ten minutes for the system to recognize any updates to your profile. If you are still having difficulties seeing your biography and/or photo after an extended period of time, please contact ali@peakpilates.com.
