This was the first year that ECA chose Fort Lauderdale as a venue for their Florida show. They also changed the date and the name of the show, so the turnout for attendees was much lower than expected. Attendees seemed to really enjoy the location of the venue, and the weather was great for people who were traveling from further distances to reach the show.  Despite the low number of attendees, the class sessions went very well. Our presenter, Stacey Lei Krauss was able to really connect with her audience as she led six MVe Fitness Chair sessions throughout the conference.

The trade show hall as a whole was not very busy, but that was to be expected due to the low attendee numbers. The class sessions opposed the trade show hours which also added to lower foot traffic at the expo. However, we did see a large number of attendees from our class sessions stop by our booth to get more information about the chair, and to make purchases of the chair and our education materials. It was also quite surprising to see how many men stopped by our booth to try out the chair.
